Hey, guys!

In today’s Case Study, we’re going to show you a real way to gain almost $3000 of profit in just one month! All you need is our Beauty offer – Inno Gialuron in Mexico and Facebook ads.

This case study will be quite useful for those, who are already working with Facebook ads and Latin America or going to enter this set of GEOs soon.

Let’s go!

Prefer reading? Here is the text version of the case study. Enjoy!

Check out the main deets of the campaign first:

Period: 25/08/2021 – 30/09/2021

Offer: 6048 Inno Gialuron – MX

GEO: Mexico

Traffic source: Facebook ads

Revenue: $5733

Spend: $2734.33

Profit: $2998.67

ROI: 109%

Please note that the ad campaign took only one month from 25th August 2021 until 30th September 2021, nevertheless, our publisher has managed to get such a good profit!

It was about $2734 in spend. Revenue amounted to $5733, and we reached a pure profit of around $3000. At that time, our affiliate decided to use Facebook ads as a traffic source. And he launched the campaign in Mexico, that was a nice choice!

Getting into this ad campaign, everything started with the advice of his affiliate manager – Maria. She said that the landing page [23338] TE – (N) – InnoGialuron – MX – Orange – latam had an incredible performance. Furthermore, 3 landing pages had been tested, but this one showed the best results. The page was very whitehat for Facebook, and it was one of the most important advantages.

Now we can go over three creatives with the highest CTR. But note that more than 50 types of pics were tested. And remember, guys, creatives make more than half of your ad campaign’s success!

But none of the top 3 images could be compared to the efficiency of a video. 90% of the campaign’s success was obtained with the video, as the CTR suppressed the images’ performance doubly.

And here we came to one of the most important things: moderation on Facebook. This campaign solved the moderation quest easily. The secret lies in the advertising account. The ad was launched from an old one; without bans and with a budget spent on whitehat campaigns

So welcome to the inside statistics data of this Inno Gialuron ad campaign:

To sum up, we advise you to test as many creatives as needed and pay attention to the quality of your accounts!

And don’t forget that profit on Facebook is real even in 2021!

Hey! We know that you can be puzzled about how to promote goods without having trouble. We’ve got a clue for you from our partners –PeerClick.

We recommend you to read this article up to the end not to miss out on a special discount.

The goal of this article is to walk you through your first PeerClick Moderation Assistance Tool setup. We are going to use the offer from Adcombo affiliate network and Facebook as a traffic source. In this setup tutorial, we will cover all the main points. If you have any additional questions, please contact PeerClick support team for assistance.

For your convenience, you can find a video tutorial available at the end of the article.

Before you start, make sure you have:

  • a clean domain with the SSL certificate that has never been used before;
  • a white landing page, added to this domain, that moderators and bots will see;
  • The PHP version on your hosting must be version 7 or newer to be compatible.

Sign in to your PeerClick account and create an (1) Affiliate Network. (2)Click on the “New” button and choose from the trusted networks(3). (4) Click “Create“.

Go to “Sources” and create a traffic source that you will moderate. In our case, it is (3) (4) Facebook. You can moderate different sources with PeerClick. The setup process will be identical.

You can (5) turn off tokens to shorten the ad URL by clicking on the green trigger in traffic source Parameters. (6) Click create.

Go to your Affiliate network account and copy the offer URL you created earlier.

Go back to PeerClick and move to the “Offers” tab. Create a new offer. Give it a name. Paste the copied link, and select the affiliate network added in one of the previous steps. {clickid} macro will be filled in automatically. {clickid} is used for a correct work of postback with affiliate network.

Copy the postback URL and go back to your affiliate network account. Click “Postbacks → Settings”. Paste the URL into each of the fields to transfer the desired statuses. Click “Save”.

Go back to the tracker and start creating a new campaign. Сlick the “New” button on the “Campaign” tab. Find Destination and select (1) Web-site protection (this is our PeerClick Tool). (2) Then add the Site URL – this is your clean domain you have never used before. (3) Enter the name of the campaign. (4) Select the traffic source.  Once the campaign is created, the previously configured tokens for this source will be added automatically. These tokens are necessary to transmit additional information such as ads id.

Go to “Settings” (right side of the screen) (5). Tick the filters that you need to use with the tool.  We recommend marking the filters as in the screenshot for better protection. If you can’t find the traffic source you need in the filters, it is included in Library bots and spies. In the video (which is available at the end of the article), you can find a link to the manual where the detailed description of every filter is. If you can’t find the necessary traffic source in the filters, it is included in the Library bots and robots section. To perform the setup check, turn off Without Refer filter. When the check is completed, you can turn it back on.

Then we choose where real users should be sent to. So bots and moderators will see the white landing, which we will be put on the domain http://test.peerclick.info later. Users will be sent (6) to the URL (in case of redirect) which you specify choosing this method, or to rule (if you want to sort users by rules for example according to the geo). As you know Facebook bans for redirects, so we should choose the third and the most suitable method for it – without redirect!

We should also add one rule to the blacklist of the Tool to make sure that the Tool works. I’ll add a rule for Google Chrome to be considered a bot. To do this, click the “Add rule” button.

Move to the “Devices” tab in the opened window. Tick “Chrome” in the “Browsers” section and click “Apply”.

Don’t forget to click the “Create” button to save your campaign.

Once the campaign is created, we can download the PHP script file in the PHP script tab

Then we move to the hosting. Make sure that your PHP-version is 7 or newer, otherwise, nothing will work.

To set up the Tool without redirect you need to add 2 sites (white and black) to the index.php file.

Let’s go to the file manager, I will do this with FTP. In the file manager, add a white landing, which will be moderated.

Find the (1) index.html file and add lines 2 and 3 copied from the tracker.

Upload the PHP script file (2) to the same folder where index.html is located. Copy the name of the script and connect it to the index.html file by editing the 2nd line in the index.html file. To do this, replace “Path to file” with the Tool file name “6317-15Geix.php”.

And change its extension from index.html to index.php

Now we move to the tracker and copy the Site URL with all the tokens added.

Let’s check if the Tool works! For this we follow the copied from the Google Chrome link – a white landing will be shown to us, as we have made a rule that everyone who uses Chrome is considered to be a bot. Following the link from another browser we will see the black landing page – it means the Tool works.

After that, we take the site URL and place it on Facebook. It’s OBLIGATORY to PAUSE the Tool working in the tracker during the moderation. For this click once on the icon – the red color of the icon means that the Tool is turned off.

Set up the ad campaign on FB and send it for moderation. When moderation is passed and a certain number of clicks are made – we activate the Tool. Make the icon green.

Now the setup is completed.

PeerClick has the most responsive support team in the world. So if you have any difficulties, do not hesitate to contact us. And our support managers will be happy to help you out.

To make it more convincing, use the promo code Adcombo-CLO-50 and get $50 on your account. You can use them as a discount for any billing plan. For example Basic+ plan (your working with the Tool starts here). Our available payment methods are Web Money, Credit Card, you can also write to support and ask to open PayPal.

Well, master pixel isn’t Jackie Chan in the world of Facebook. It’s an easier thing.

The master pixel is a pixel created on a stand-alone Business Manager for sharing with other accounts to collect ever more data and store it in one place (Manager). In other words, it’s the primary pixel connecting all your accounts’ data. It isn’t a newly born term, it’s just the way to name the core pixel.

What superpower does it have?

1. It extends your audience data and supplies the pixel with findings;

2. It saves the pixel performance after it has been banned.

How to set up a master pixel correctly

Step 1

Log in to or create a new/whitehat profile. Then start a new Business Manager. It’ll perform as the master pixel. By the way, it isn’t necessary to drive any traffic from it.

Step 2

Create a pixel on the selected BM. Of course, you can do this at the account level but, in this case, keep in mind that you’ll have to run ad campaigns from time to time. Otherwise, BAN, PLEASE! (for being inactive, eh). Moreover, you can decide upon settings, events and other details on your own. All this stuff doesn’t actually influence the method efficiency.

Notice:

You can share only an active pixel. That means it’s already fired and its color is green.

Step 3

Enter Business Manager → Events Manager → select the pixel you want to share→ click «assign partners» → enter ID of a BM that you want to share with → sharing  permission→ click any tick;

For new users:

If you’re unable to find pixel or Events Manager – use this link.

A Business Manager ID to share can be found by entering the main page of BM and copying the numbers following «business_id=» in the address bar.

Sometimes, when ID sharing, you can face the warning notification which requests you to register the company. Ignore it, the pixel’ll be shared anyway.

Step 4

Having done all the previous steps, enter the BM aka «receiver»

In the top right corner, you’ll see the notification that you’ve not been invited to manage the pixel. Click it and agree to its conditions.

Then…wo-hoo, the pixel is yours now.

If it’s needed, the accounts’ access can be disabled. That will be a good option, if they’ve been banned, for example. To do this, enter the BM where the master pixel is and select the same tab which you’ve assigned partners on (‘Partners’ tab). Then delete the accounts you don’t need anymore.

Now you can share your pixel with any other accounts without fear that it’ll be blocked and you’ll lose all your essential data!

Level up!

Most of the existing spy-services specializing in social networks share “locators” principle. A network created out of thousands of profiles for different targeting groups (by age, gender, GEO, interests) forms a radar. The script transfers all the ads from every user’s feed to the database with the targeting markers.

The more accounts (that match the desired targeting and behavior) there are, the better spy-base operates. Any of our accounts should be potentially interesting for Facebook Ads delivery algorithm.

How to become a “good” user for FB Ads:

That’s a piece of cake! You just need to react to ads and give an advertiser exactly what he wants. The more such actions the user makes, the more new ads FB will show you.

But the trouble is that the interests that FB assigns to us rarely correspond to the user who orders something on the Internet. Thus, Facebook needs a little help.

Since in this article we consider eCommerce, you can run an ad on several online shops from Ecombo Junior with purchase optimization and then imitate several purchases in your shops so that the pixel could fire. That would be enough for FB to start actively showing you all the dropshippers’ ads.

You can do it manually, without buying anything. The desired pixel has to fire at least several times on behalf of your profile. Follow these steps:

  • Log in your Facebook profile;
  • In your online store website start placing an order;
  • your pixel ID and the price of the goods on the landing page (the pixel won’t work without it) should be inserted in the following code WITHOUT SQUARE BRACKETS:

fbq(‘track’, ‘Purchase’, { content_type: ‘product_group’, content_ids: ‘[PIXEL_ID]’ , value: [GOODS_PRICE], num_items: 1, currency: ‘USD’, })

  • Press Ctrl+Shift+J (open the console in developer mode) for Chrome browser. In the console paste the code and press Enter.

FB will consider it to be a purchase. Ideally, such a procedure is to be done several times in different stores (the more, the better). You can find out the pixel’s ID through the Pixel Helper plugin.

After a while, Facebook will begin to offer you online stores’ ads of various dropshippers almost every 4 posts in the feed in your GEO. Today most of the newbies run up to 20 countries in the ad, so there’s no need to create an account for each particular GEO.

How to track advertisements:

In July 2019, Facebook updated the procedure for disclosure of information about advertising and advertisers. Now you can see not only the interests you’re being targeted on but also some of the targeting settings for each ad. An ad itself can tell us a lot about the methods of promotion. Let’s see:

Look at the number of likes, comments and reposts that an online store has. This shows how long the publication has been existing, whether it has been promoted by the engagement ad in advance or there are negative comments there.

If you click  “” at the top of the ad and choose “Why am I seeing this ad?” option, you can learn a little more about targeting:

From this data, you can find out:

  • if the dropshipper is targeting interests or using lookalike;
  • or this interest is assigned by the user personally;
  • or Facebook has added it to you on its own, as well as age and gender of the targeted audience.

By the way, here is the link to the video of our review.

Next, go to the dropshipper’s fanpage.

Here we suggest paying attention to several things:

  • Age. The older the fanpage is, the stronger the shop is.
  • Subscribers. The number of subscribers indicates whether the shop was promoted for engagement or not.
  • Look through all the Posts in the FP (though dropshippers are not usually engaged in the FB account farming).
  • Old habits die hard, so we recommend to look into reviews. Most often there they write something like “SCAM SHOP”, however, a large number of reviews also indicates the viability of the store.

Then open the “Page transparency” section.

Here you can see that the page is managed by some resident of China or India, who sits under different VPNs.

Go to Ad Library and see ads.

Usually, Ad Library properly shows the whole pool of ads, the number of duplicates, the launch date and the list of countries which ad is targeted on.

Make simple judgments: the more duplicates and reruns you make, the more interesting the product becomes. A simple law works here: no one is eager to run traffic on an idle product. In this particular case, we see two ads for a bunch of countries that have been running for less than a week. It’s probably just a simple GEO test.

Therefore, we are not interested in this product. Still, we suggest that you should go to the original ad’s lander and see the cost, plugins and the platform: https://cologoshop.com/products/iron-4

Most websites are made on Shopify or Woocommerce platforms. Pay attention to the cost, delivery options and available payment tools. In the Refund Policy section, you can see that this is a typical dropshipping store, which even asks to return its goods to China. You can easily calculate all the mathematics of the store if you check this product on AliShark and take into account all the Shopify’s commissions.

In any case, this particular product in the current setup causes no desire to test it. Pay attention to the shops, which have a lot of duplicates running more than two weeks or which have several million views on the video.

That’s the way it is.

By the way, we hope our local handymen will use open FB data from the library and, finally, implement a full service with such tools as AliShark, so that the webmaster could receive a full set of data about the shop before launching an ad.

Make sure you leave your comment below if you want us to analyze in detail two different types of conversion – PPL Cash-on-Delivery and PPS.

Thanks!

A special bonus that is available only for our publishers. We’ve got to show what the real network’s concern looks like. AdCombo and ePayService provide you with an exclusive opportunity to solve all the payment concerns.

EPayService is ready to provide a universal solution for the Facebook Ads and Google Ads payment just for our webmasters. What’s the deal? Everyone knows how irritative can the payment process be. From now on, you all have a unique opportunity to get rid off this problem by using one physical ePayService card (it includes up to three virtual credit cards with the reissue service).

Benefits:

  • Virtual cards are provided with the same BIN as physical ones. There will be no difference at all;
  • All the cards are bound to a particular address, the payment can be fit to your certain way of advertising and it won’t generate a trigger “suspicious activity”;
  • Facebook Ads and Google Ads trust a lot BIN addresses of ePayService;
  • Each AdCombo affiliate may have up to three virtual cards at a time, banned ones can be easily re-issued;
  • Virtual cards have pretty high limits ($ 5,500 for the balance recharging and the total turnover up to $ 600,000) and live for six months.

Moreover, you can use those cards as a common payment. Exchange rates, money transfers, and cash-out from the ATM are pretty good. The cards are international so you can get your cash in almost all countries all over the world. Limit of the daily volume of transactions is $8500 (so is the max balance).

Also, the service is mainly a payment for webmasters, freelancers, affiliates and small entrepreneurs. So no one is going to question the source of funds – that’s a good thing.

Finally, the most important benefit: your card will not be blocked just because you decide to transfer your money to any online-payment service.

But there is one tiny little issue. Using ePayService CCs, don’t even think to leave your Facebook bills unpaid. The company values the reputation of its BINs, so as soon as affiliates leave their accounts in the negatives and re-issue their cards – the service will block access with all the funds (and it’s right).

How can you get it?

You need to submit an application using OUR link (so the emission and delivery of the regular card will be for free). Contact your affiliate manager, ask for the link, register and – there you go – get your card for free! BY THE WAY, you can get the card only if you actually run traffic to AdCombo

That’s it. And we highly recommend you to hurry up because the offer works in a test mode and could be suspended at any moment 😉

The project is still on, so you are up to get free money!

So, meet the case how to make money with  Body Armour on Facebook Ads!

SUMMARY

Network: AdCombo
Offer: Body Armour
GEO: Thailand (TH)
Traffic Source: Facebook Ads
Revenue: $3077Ads Cost: $1956

Profit: $1121
ROI: +60%
Period: 9-14 February 2018

BACKGROUND

These days Thai GEO is pretty popular and it gains momentum day by day. Our publisher (this case author) decided to follow the recommendations of our affiliate manager Anna and took the offer Body Armour. Further, the most suitable landing page with a pleasant human was chosen. Judging by his face, it seems that he has no problems with joints anymore.

By the way, AdCombo also have a  white hat landing page. So, in order not to suffer from a permanent banning and to run traffic without any obstacles, we recommend you to use legal methods.

Have choosing the lander, it’s time to deal with a prelender. Done? Go on!

PREPARATION

To pass Facebook moderation process your ads should follow all FB Ads Policies. An ad creative undesirable for Facebook means that a page shows Before and After photos, doctors, facts without proofs while white hat landing page doesn’t.

The idea was to use a clean landing page that meets FB policies during the moderation process, but once our ads are approved, we apply some technical manoeuvres to switch it to a more converting lander.

Our hero wrote an article about how useful physical exercises are and placed it on Yandex.Zen. It’s a really cool service offering personalized content based on users’ interests. So, it’s rather easy to find your target audience. In our case, it was planned to transfer FB moderators to this article. The tool developed by him, similar to Keitaro, was applicated to avoid banning. You may wonder – a publisher from Russia creating articles for TH? That’s true – he has friends who are Thai native speakers, so, his article and creative materials were done properly.

TRAFFIC FLOW

The advertising campaign was set up for the male audience of 45+. And don’t forget to exclude doctors from “interests” because they may report your ad much more often than others.

The first day was devoted to testing different creative materials, but the CTR was not so good – about 2-3%. Finally, the suitable options were founded that gave the CTR 7%.

After split testing, it was time to scale up the campaign and increase the budget by 70% daily. We need to keep in mind, that scaling up is aimed to raise revenue, not to increase ROI. That’s why during scaling up ROI can drop but we will get more money and ROI will improve later.

There are two scale up methods when it comes to Facebook Ads:
1) Incremental budget increase
2) Duplicating Ad Set

To accelerate the process, you can use a duplicating method – just take a profitable Ad Set and duplicate it few times. Please note that you need above 1 million audience for an effective result with this method, because duplicating Ad Sets can result in Audience Overlap, it means your Ad Sets compete with each other.

On the second day of running, our managers decided to increase payouts for this publisher to $ 13 and he was very glad to see a high approve.

That gave him pretty good results.

Statistics from AdCombo dashboard

TO SUM UP

In just 5 days our hero was able to reach a profit high enough to considered this case successful. The main advice this publisher can give you – test more, doubt less! Only then you will find a real bonanza!

Join AdCombo and let the profit be with you! See you next time!

Adam Reimer has been in the digital marketing space for over a decade providing companies of all sizes with ROI based marketing.  His specialties include Affiliate Management, SEO and ad platforms like Facebook and Pinterest.  Also, he is a popular blogger. You can read his affiliate marketing advices  here . And he will tell in this article how to use facebook ads to promote affiliate offers.

One of the most important things I’ve learned from managing affiliate programs is that you need to empower your affiliates.  This not only means encouragement, but teaching them new techniques that can grow their business.  One of my favorites is how to use the Facebook ads platform and advanced targeting strategies.  That is what this post will help you learn.

AdCombo has asked me to create a guide featuring either nutra-products or weightloss products, so I said sure.

Disclaimer: When promoting these types of offers I highly recommend you do not make any medical claims, give medical advice or make false claims.  You also need to check with the ad platform to make sure the product or offer you’re promoting is allowed.  There may be restrictions that could cause you to lose your account.

The first step is to get to the ads platform on Facebook. Click on the top right drop down next to help and select “Create Ads”

On the next page you choose an objective.  If you’re able to place a pixel, then conversions could be good.  If not, traffic or others may work for you.  Think about the audience you’re trying to reach and the goal.  I would choose traffic as an affiliate if I cannot get the merchant to place a pixel for me.

Next you need to think about what groups would be looking for this type of product as a solution.  If I was going to create target groups for a campaign promoting weight-loss launching around now (spring time), here are three groups that I may test.

  • Gay men ages 21 – 35
  • New moms
  • Trendy singles with disposable income

Gay Men Ages 21 – 35

Targeting specific groups with Facebook is easy.  The trick is narrowing it down and matching it with your messages.  If I’m running ads in early April (right now) targeting gay men in this age range, my first instinct is to think “why would they want to lose weight?”.  My next thought is where they are going that they would need to lose the weight for.  I came up with the beach.

Next I did a Google search for cities that have winter (some cities are sunny and warm year round) and a reasonable sized gay community and that have a gay beach town nearby.  You have Rehoboth Beach (DC, Philadelphia, Richmond, Pittsburgh and Wilmington), Sitges (Barcelona, Madrid, Terassa, Badalona and Toulouse), Provincetown and Fire Island (NYC, Boston, Providence, Hartford and New Haven).

Now that I have my city targets and theme I go to Facebook and I start adding my demographics.  Here is the following that I would choose as a starting point to try and show ads to this particular group.

  • Men
  • Age 21 – 35
  • Interested in Men
  • If you can, target by likes the gay beach town, stores or restaurants in the beach town or other landmarks and celebrity performers there
  • Interests, likes and hobbies including different LGBT causes and organizations

Now with the ads I would incorporate in that it’s almost beach season at XYZ city and messaging about being ready.  The imagery, messaging and landing pages should all be focused around gay men (i.e. no heterosexual couples or women since this is targeting men who like men and who are going to a gay beach town).

New Moms

This is another target that came to mind.  Having a baby may mean you put on some weight and you may want to lose it.  Targeting new moms is easy.  Facebook offers you an actual target called “New Moms” under demographics and parents.  But that isn’t good enough.

You could run this, but also make it more targeted by including things like interests in diets, weight loss, yoga, exercise, fitness and also in natural remedies.  Another way to better target is to include being a fan of or interests in a specific gym chain, weight loss tv shows and weight loss programs.  All of these may be complementary to the dietary supplements you’re promoting.

Trendy Singles With Disposable Income

Depending on where you’re targeting, you can try to reach people who are trendy may have disposable income.

First start by targeting people under “relationships” that are “single”.  Next think about who may have a higher income.  If you’re in the US (and some other markets) you can set a target with household income, median income or net worth.  If that isn’t available, think of the demographics that would make more.

  • Job titles – CEO, VP, Director, etc…
  • Postal codes – Look at where you can target based on postal codes. Some have higher incomes than others.  Combine that with age ranges and non-work hours and you may get the higher earning singles who are home from work.
  • Food and drink choices – If the person drinks fine wines (you may be able to target by more exclusive varietals or high end vineyards) and unique or foreign foods, this could potentially be a way to target higher income people. There will be cross over to fans and people who aspire to reach that level, but that’s why you combine it with other targets.

Now for the trendy part.  Targeting people who are fans or enjoy fads like miracle diets, herbal cures or other things that come and go could be a good way to find a “trendy” person.  You can also target people who enjoy fashion magazines and trendy stores.  Facebook also offers trendy as an adjective with numerous other targeting demographics to help show ads to people who may consider themselves trendy.

As you can see, Facebook ads offers you a ton of ways to be able to target specific audiences and groups of people.  You can get as specific as you want or as generic.  Either way it gives you a great way to try and reach a specific audience that you think may convert well for the offer and make you money.  If you’d like help with your Facebook advertising or affiliate management, you can always contact me through my blog here.
